And another one...
Oud Royal by Armani Prive
I just got this one yesterday. Opens up with a medicinal, band-aid like oud, with incense, with the sandalwood smoothing it up. Then later on, the amber comes out to join the party giving it a little touch of woody-sweetness. The overall vibe is balmy, woody, medicinal, "arabian", smoky and yet still very elegant. It's smooth and suave - a very aromatic oud. Mysterious and unique! Projection is above average but longevity is amazing.

Welcome to the family...
Interlude Man by Amouage
I love Amouage fragrances! They're opulent, rich and complex, projects really well and lasts very long. Interlude Man for sure does not disappoint. It starts with a fruity-woody vibe hiding some mysteriousness in the background. Later on, this mystery is revealed with a symphony of spicy, peppery, oudy, smoky, woody, resinous, semi-sweet-woody aroma. It's enchanting! As the whole masterpiece dies down, you get this sweet-woody-cedary-ambery scent. It's addicting. Longevity is amazing!! A winner for sure from the house of Amouage!

Santal Noble by Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier
I just got this one today. In the opening, I do get the coffee, patchouli and vetiver. It's spicy and earthy. Then it goes down to a soft cloud of sandalwood and vanilla. It's dreamy, relaxing and comforting. Very classy and refined. I just wish they made it richer and fuller and also, it could use more projection. I couldn't find a vintage version but still this new version is great enough. =)

The Choir...
This was taken some time in March 2012. I have streamlined my collection since then but I haven't taken a photo of it recently. So for now, this is the latest collection picture I have. Don't you just love those two small bottles on top of a purple velvet throne? =)

New Members of the Family...
Ambre Orient by Armani Prive
The Armani Prive 1001 Nights Collection is composed of Ambre Orient, Oud Royal, Rose d'Arabie and Cuir Noir. I have smelled all three of them except the leather one. And I must say that they are all gorgeous! Ambre Orient is a woody, ambery, incensy with a touch of benzoin and vanilla and a little powdery. It is very addicting! One of the best amber based fragrances on the market. Though it comes with a hefty price, I think it's worth every penny. =)
Midnight Oud by Juliette Has a Gun
Opens up with a rubbery, balmy, medicinal oud-rose-saffron combo. The rose is bright and fresh! It is not as in-your-face as Black Aoud by Montale which a lot of people say that it is similar with. Midnight Oud has an incensy and resinous feel to it. As it goes down to the base notes, some amber start to come out and vanilla. It's gorgeous and elegant! Very unisex! So gentlemen, do not be afraid of a lady with a gun. Give it a try!

And Sicker...
As you can see, a lot of bottles have disappeared. I sold a lot and bought others. I miss some of them though. Thouse Thierry Mugler Miroir Collection look gorgeous all lined up together. That Chinatown is the Swarovski Edition, I miss that one too. =) Yes that is Grey Flannel at the back of that Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier! hahahaha. More to come.
